Are Tiger concept watches eta2836 or pearl 2838?

A lot of the Tiger Concept watches offer either the Asian ETA2836 movement or the Pearl 2838 movement. The Pearl movement is about $55 cheaper, but at the same time I don't want to end up with a dud movement that breaks in the first week. If anyone owns a watch with a Chinese Pearl 2838 movement, how robust and accurate is it?
